The Gyeonggi Creation Center is Korea’s largest art residency. Here 40 artists create a variety of artwork of different genres every year. The Gyeonggi Creation Center provides residence artists with creative spaces, exhibitions, exchanges, and other various programs and financially supports their art activities.

Richard Humann spent the months of December 2011, and January and February of 2012 at the Gyeonggi Creation Center art residency, on the island of Daebudo in the Yellow Sea of South Korea.
